Smackdown 3/20 Viewership Highest Since Superstar Shakeup

Smackdown's viewership was up for Daniel Bryan's return. 

Hours before Smackdown went on the air last night, WWE announced Daniel Bryan had been medically cleared and Bryan said he would be coming out during the first segment of Smackdown. According to ShowBuzz Daily, Smackdown had an average of 2,888,000 viewers which is the highest since last year's Superstar Shakeup which had an average of 3 million viewers. The Smackdown after Wrestlemania 33 which was the week before the shakeup averaged 2,885,000 viewers.

The March 13th episode of Smackdown had good ratings as well with 2.7 million viewers. 

Smackdown outranked shows with higher viewership because of the 990,000 viewers which belonged to the 18 to 49 demographic. 

On the WWE YouTube, only a couple videos had over one million views which were Bryan's speech at the beginning of the show thanking the audience and his wife for support and the video of him brawling with Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens. The video of the Wrestlemania 34 United States triple threat match participants in the ring received over 700 thousand views. Braun Strowman almost kissing Alexa Bliss during Mixed Match Challenge got over 1 million views.
