Two weeks away from Extreme Rules, Smackdown viewership has dropped.
On the June 19th episode of Smackdown, there was an average of 2.3 million viewers and this week's Smackdown averaged barley over 2 million viewers according to Showbuzz Daily. Smackdown was ranked second among Tuesday's cable original shows and sported a .85 in the 18 to 49 year old demographic. A morning World Cup match was the show to outrank Smackdown.
Smackdown had 120,000 less viewers this week than last week. Raw also saw a dip in ratings this week of about equal value. Both shows had steadied out in ratings before this additional dip.
On YouTube, the best three performing videos were near or above 1 million views. Asuka versus James Ellsworth which ended up being a short double count-out had 1.3 million views, Team Hell No's opening segment has over 900,000 views, and Team Hell No versus the Usos in the main event had over 800,000 views. The television viewership numbers were late this week due to Independence Day so the YouTube numbers had an extra day to collect before this report.
