SmackDown Women's Title Match Moved From WWE Money In The Bank To 7/16 WWE SmackDown

Bianca Belair gets a new challenger.

On Friday afternoon, WWE announced Bayley sustained an injury while training and is expect to be sidelined for approximately nine months. Bayley was set to challenge Belair for the SmackDown Women's Championship at Money in the Bank.

As a result of Bayley's injury, Belair needed a new opponent.

During Friday's SmackDown, WWE official Sonya Deville announced that Belair will no longer defend the SmackDown Women's Championship at Money in the Bank. Instead, she will defend the title against Carmella on the July 16 episode of SmackDown, which is the first SmackDown back in front of fans.

As a result of the change, Carmella is out of the women's Money in the Bank and was replaced by Liv Morgan.
