El Lujo de La Lucha Libre calls out The Mad Man.
Soberano Jr. appeared on CMLL Informa alongside Máscara Dorada, Titán & Hechicero to discuss with the host of the show, Julio César Rivera, their participation in NJPW's collaborative event with CMLL, AEW & ROH, "Wrestle Dynasty".
When discussing their participation, Rivera threw the idea of running a similar event from the mythical Arena Mexico in Mexico City. As part of the idea, Soberano Jr. took advantage to call out one of NJPW's top champions, NJPW STRONG Openweight Champion Gabe Kidd of The Bullet Club War Dogs. He stated the following: "While we are at it, I will issue the challenge. Gabe Kidd, you are the bad guy in New Japan and you want to feel like that man with character. Let me tell you that we have real wrestlers in Mexico and if this event took place, I am the one who will wait for you to show who your daddy is".
Soberano Jr. last competed in Wrestle Dynasty as part of the Lucha Gaunlet, won by Bullet Club War Dogs's own Taiji Ishimorii. Gabe Kidd also competed in the same event, losing in a spectacular showing against All Elite Wrestling's own Kenny Omega; however, Kidd will be in action on January 11, defending his title against Tomohiro Ishii in NJPW's event "Battle In The Valley". Fightful will have the results of that show.
