Solo Sikoa: I Might Eliminate Myself From The Royal Rumble So I Don't Have To Face Roman Reigns

Solo Sikoa says that he might eliminate himself from the Royal Rumble rather than trying to win the match and challenge Roman Reigns.

Sikoa joined The Bloodline when he arrived at WWE Clash at the Castle and helped Reigns retain the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Drew McIntyre. Since then, Sikoa has established himself as the stable's dominant enforcer and an impressive competitor in his own right. Given his early success, some fans have wondered wheher Sikoa could step up and face Reigns at some point.

In an interview with Riju Dasgupta of Sportskeeda Wrestling, the possibility of winning the Royal Rumble and challenging Reigns for the titles came up in the conversation. Sikoa stated that he could eliminate himself to take that potential outcome off the table. While he teased that he'd be open to the opportunity, he stated that he knows his role is to protect "The Tribal Chief."

"Well I might not win the Royal Rumble. I might eliminate myself. I don't know, you never know. If that opportunity presents itself, Maybe. But I know my role as the enforcer and that it's to protect — anybody that tries to step up to Roman Reigns, gets knocked down," Sikoa said.

In the meantime, The Bloodline is focused on WWE Crown Jewel. There, Reigns will defend the gold against Logan Paul. When asked whether the social media megastar has a chance, Sikoa expressed his doubt and stated that the WWE Universe will see what Paul is made of when he faces Reigns.

"Hey man, two years of dominance versus two matches, come on, man. He knows where he’s at. He’s in the deep end with the biggest shark in the ocean. It’s either sink or swim, man, and we’re gonna find out what he’s made of. I know he’s training. I know he’s down there working hard, but this isn’t just one of those things where you can walk in the park. Nah, he’s gonna find out the hard way, just like I did. They threw me in the deep end in The Bloodline to see if I could hold my own, and I’m doing it. Now let’s see an outsider, if he can do the same," Sikoa said.
