Sonjay Dutt sends a heated message to Paul Walter Hauser.
On the January 13 episode of AEW Rampage, Jay Lethal, Jeff Jarrett, and Satnam Singh, alongside Dutt, attacked Hauser and stole his Golden Globe award. Dutt and his group have apparently kept it ever since, and the award came into play on the January 27 episode of AEW Rampage. Jarrett, Lethal, and Dutt faced the Best Friends (Chuck taylor & Trent Beretta) and Danhausen on Friday night, and "Double J" hit Danhausen with it in order to help his team clinch the win.
In a digital exclusive after the match, Lethal denied the claim that they scored a tainted victory. Instead, he stated that they taught the Best Friends a lesson. Jarrett then claimed that he has never done something that's tainted.
Jay Lethal: A tainted victory? No, no, no. What that was was the Best Friends learning a hard lesson, and that is that jumping on this bandwagon may sound like a good idea, and everybody might be doing it. But jumping on is a lot easier than jumping off.
Jeff Jarrett: Lexy, don’t you ever disrespect a two-time Hall of Famer, a former 12-time world heavyweight champion. I’ve never done one damn thing in my career that’s been tainted.
Dutt went on to reveal that he's been hit with a cease and desist, as he has been told he's not allowed to show the award on AEW TV. Dutt defiantly brushed off this order, as he pulled the award out, and the editing team apparently blurred the image. Dutt then claimed that the award is his, and he told Paul Walter Hauser that he can kiss his ass.
Sonjay Dutt: You know what’s in this box here? It’s a golden globe, and I’ll tell you, I got a cease and desist from the authorities in Hollywood that said Sonjay Dutt, you can’t show the Golden Globe on television. You can’t do that, you stole it from Paul Walter Hauser. You know what? Paul Walter Hauser, kiss my ass. This golden globe is mine. Hollywood authorizes, all of you pretentious, snobby sons of bitches, I’m showing the real Golden Globe, this is the real Golden Globe. Paul Walter Hauser, kiss my ass. Danhausen, you dare step up to my best friend, Jay Lethal, and Satnam Singh, seven-foot-four, one in a billion. He crushed you. He’s the biggest, he’s the best, he’s the strongest. He’s got 1.4 billion people on his back. Now, Jeff, we got the golden globe. I love gold. Best Friends, don’t stick your nose in our business ever again.
After what some were calling a tainted victory, @RealJeffJarrett, @TheLethalJay, @helloSatnam & @sonjaydutterson had some choice words for #BestFriends @trentylocks @SexyChuckieT, Paul Walter Hauser & Hollywood! #AEWRampage pic.twitter.com/xgeHHsgXxi
