A new competitor is coming to NJPW STRONG
During the NJPW STRONG tapings in Philadelphia on October 16, it was announced that a former WWE superstar is coming to the promotion.

Buddy Matthews (Buddy Murphy in WWE) is headed to NJPW STRONG and will debut on November 13 at Battle in the Valley at the San Jose Civic in San Jose, California.
The event is set to air live on FITE TV.

Matthews is a former NXT Cruiserweight Champion who was released by the company on June 2.
He has done a handful of independent matches since his release and is set to face Malakai Black in December.
Matches taped during Saturday's NJPW STRONG Showdown in Philadelphia will air on upcoming episodes of NJPW STRONG.
