A major title has changed hands at the NWA PowerrrTrip tapings.
It was just over one week ago when the National Wrestling Alliance announced that Trevor Murdoch would defend the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship against Matt Cardona at NWA PowerrrTrip on February 12. Cardona made his NWA debut at NWA Hard Times 2, attacking Murdoch after he defended the title against Mike Knox.
At the event, which will premiere on this Tuesday's NWA Powerrr, Cardona was able to pin Murdoch to become the new NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion. He is now the 55th person to hold the prestigious belt and ends Murdoch's reigns at 167 days.
Cardona now holds this and the IMPACT Digital Media Championship which he recently won from Jordynne Grace.
