Stephanie McMahon says Ronda Rousey brings a lot to WWE.
On a recent episode of Chasing Glory with Lilian Garcia which was recorded before Sunday's WWE Elimination Chamber, Stephanie McMahon gave her opinion of what the signing of Ronda Rousey means for WWE.
"I think it's been a dream of ours and I know of hers for a very long time to have Ronda Rousey as a part of the WWE. I think also it really speaks to the women's evolution and it speaks to level and caliber of athlete that we have as a part of our roster that Ronda wants to be a part of this movement. I think Ronda, she wants to earn it. She absolutely wants to work incredibly hard. You talk about a work ethic! Holy Cow! And she brings this tremendous star power and this incredible talent," said McMahon. "What she has meant to the whole rise to women in sports and now she's bring all of that to WWE, I couldn't be more excited," she continued.
At WWE Elimination Chamber, Rousey and McMahon were in the ring together as Rousey signed her contract with Raw. During the segment, Rousey found out about McMahon and Triple H's nefarious motives about bringing her to WWE. After Rousey was told McMahon called her a "has-been", Rousey tossed Triple H through a table before McMahon left the ring unharmed.
After the pay-per-view on Raw Talk, McMahon said she, Triple H, Rousey, and Kurt Angle will air out the disagreement on Raw.
Fightful Wrestling had live coverage of WWE Elimination Chamber and a recapping podcast. The same will be available for Raw.
