Christopher Daniels will wrestle a rookie at All In
Stephen Amell has been a part of All In since the beginning and has been a part of Being the Elite as well. During the series, Christopher Daniels framed Amell for the murder of Joey Ryan. On the latest episode of Being the Elite, Amell said Daniels is jealous that he was part of the All In marquee and then issued a challenge to Daniels.
"This banner comes out, this huge event on September 1st at the Sears Centre and you got this kid...this actor and he's on the marquee and (Daniels) is not," said Amell. "This is not just a wrestling thing...it's a spectacle. We've got to put 10,000 asses in the seats," he continued.
Amell went on to say he was not planning on wrestling but he is in good enough shape to get into the ring. The Being the Elite episode then showed the familiar graphic with a picture of Daniels and Amell. The match was later announced on Twitter.
Amell has been in two wrestling matches before All In. He wrestled at SummerSlam 2015 and at ROH Survival of the Fittest 2017 in a match where he tag teamed with Bullet Club against Daniels and others.
In the same episode, the All In crew also announced the show will be aired on HonorClub, Fite, pay-per-view, and partially WGN. Since then, the show's official Twitter also revealed that they'll air an "Over Budget Battle Royal" featuring 15 competitors on Zero Hour. Thus far Jordynne Grace, Moose, Rocky Romero, Colt Cabana and Ethan Page have been set for the match.
The All-In card continued to fill up, as Daniels' SoCal Uncensored teammates in Kazarian and Scorpio Sky were also confirmed to face legendary Ring of Honor tag team The Briscoes as well.
Fightful Wrestling will continue to provide updates as the September 1st event nears.
