Stephen Amell believes that multiple WWE stars could succeed in Hollywood.
Throughout the history of wrestling, many stars have made the transition to silver screen. Current a-list performers like Dwayne Johnson, Dave Bautista, and John Cena were able to find success in the movie industry after bringing their full-time wrestling careers to an end.
While appearing on a recent edition of The Masked Man Show, Stephen Amell, star of 'Arrow' and 'Heels', was asked to name some wrestlers that would have the chops to make it in Hollywood.
“I think the guy that might have chops is Kevin Owens. If you’ve ever met Kevin, he’s the most super soft spoken, kind, polite — and then he comes out and [its just] fire when he’s in the ring.”
Amell went on to name Gunther and Dominik Mysterio as other stars that would do great in Hollywood.
“Kevin’s really good. I think Gunther, have we ever seen anything like Gunther? What is he? Is he a heel, is he a face, is he like the anti-hero? I don’t get it, Gunther’s just amazing. In terms of chops, Dom.”
When asked about the possibility of Roman Reigns in Hollywood, Amell said that he thinks Reigns will disappear and lay low after he's done with wrestling.
Elsewhere in a seperate interview, Amell talked about the possibility of returning to ring. Learn more about those comments here.
