Sting Opens Up About His Desire To Have An In-Ring Confrontation With The Undertaker

Sting still holds out hope for at least a face-to-face with The Undertaker.

Recently, WWE Network aired a new episode of WWE Untold chronicling Sting's last match which took place at the 2015 Night Of Champions pay-per-view against Seth Rollins.

Even though Sting has not wrestled since that day end proclaimed himself retired when he went into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2016, he still feels like he could get the magic back for one last goosebumps-inducing moment with the Undertaker.

Recalling the end of his Hall of Fame induction in 2016, Sting reflected on his decision to grab his signature baseball bat at the end of his speech.

He began, "I suppose I put those glasses on at the last minute and grabbed the baseball bat, thinking 'who knows?'"

Sting understands that many forces, including WWE higher-ups and Undertaker himself, will need to also be up for it, but he's confident he can do it.

"You know, if everything lines up just right. Vince, Triple H, 'Taker, and Sting, maybe we could do this. Maybe we could just do a little..Let's just do a face-off! Let's get you guys involved in this or that. So maybe I could do it. Maybe I could do that. And so, you know, I don't know, again, if it's just ego and pride or whatever, but I feel like I could do it all these years later."

With Undertaker's career winding down and Sting having not stepped in a ring for the last four years, it is unknown if this match will ever take place. If it were to take place, who do you think would win? Let us know in the comments section below!
