With Darby Allin's feud with MJF behind him for the time being, Sting is back in the fold. Sting stepped away from the spotlight to let Allin deal with MJF on his own, but he returned on the May 31 episode of AEW Dynamite, helping Allin and Orange Cassidy fend off Gates Of Agony (Toa Liona & Kaun), Brian Cage, & Swerve Strickland when they were looking to strike.
Allin & Cassidy teamed to defeat Gates of Agony on AEW Dynamite.

Sting stepped aside on the April 12 episode of AEW Dynamite and stated that "Showtime is almost over."
