Sting is set to come out of retirement.
AEW announced Sting will team with Darby Allin to take on Team Taz members Ricky Starks and Brian Cage in a Street Fight at AEW Revolution.
Sting has appeared regularly on AEW Dynamite since making a surprise appearance and signing with the company at AEW Winter is Coming. He has expressed his interest in returning to the ring in some capacity since joining AEW, hinting at a potential cinematic match in the future.
Sting has aligned himself with AEW TNT Champion Darby Allin on television in Allin's feud against Team Taz.

This will mark Sting's first bout since WWE Night Of Champions 2015 when he faced Seth Rollins. Sting suffered a neck injury in the bout after taking a corner powerbomb. He announced his retirement during his WWE Hall of Famer induction speech in 2016.
AEW Revolution is currently scheduled for February 27. Fans can keep up with the card through Fightful's events page.
