Kevin is sick of the punishment.
Dating back to the 'Money In The Bank' PPV where Braun Strowman tossed Kevin Owens off the top of a 20-foot ladder, Strowman has been making Owens' life a living hell since then on Monday Night RAW. With the constant beat-downs and belittling of K.O. the two men met one-on-one at WWE's 'Extreme Rules' PPV on July 15th inside of a Steel Cage.
Kevin Owens was victorious in the bout but not in the way he imagined it. Strowman grabbed a hold of K.O. as Owens was attempting to escape from the cage and Strowman tossed Owens' off the 20-foot structure through the announce table below.
Kevin Owens made his way out to the ring during tonight's RAW to confront Strowman and alerted "Mr. Monster In The Bank" that he was going to show Strowman what it means to have something taken away from him.
As the commissioner of RAW Stephanie McMahon was chatting with the GM Kurt Angle, Kevin Owens and "Constable" Baron Corbin approached the two RAW figureheads and pleaded their case that Kurt Angle has allowed Kevin Owens to be dismantled by Braun Strowman for weeks. Kevin Owens then demanded that he be given the opportunity to take something away from Braun Strowman and although Kurt Angle did not agree at first, Stephanie McMahon vetoed Kurt's decision and made a match official for SummerSlam.
At the "Biggest Party Of The Summer" on August 19th, Kevin Owens will take on Braun Strowman and if Kevin Owens wins then he will become the new Mr. Money In The Bank. The odds were pushed in Kevin Owens' favor as it was also confirmed that if Strowman loses that match in any way then he will forfeit his Money In The Bank contract to Kevin Owens.
