Bianca Belair and Bayley will now compete in a ladder match at WWE Extreme Rules.
Tonight's edition of WWE Raw started off with a in-ring promo between Bianca Belair and Bayley, along with their respective crews. After Bianca Belair noted that Bayley was slammed onto a ladder in their last encounter, Bayley noted that she wanted her upcoming Raw Women's Title match at Extreme Rules to be a ladder match.

Bayley, alongside IYO SKY and Dakota Kai, has been feuding with Bianca Belair since she returned at SummerSlam in July. Bayley's team, also known as Damage CTRL, faced off against Belair, Asuka, and Alexa Bliss at the Clash At The Castle premium live event earlier this month. In that match, Bayley pinned Belair.
The last singles ladder match in WWE came back in June 2021, when Cameron Grimes faces LA Knight in a ladder match for the vacant Million Dollar Championship.
