Samoa Joe has a lot to focus on in the next few weeks of Ring of Honor television.
Shane Taylor advanced in the tournament by defeating Christopher Daniels on August 3. On the other hand, Gravity managed to get by Tony Nese on August 3 to punch his ticket to the finals.
It has been decided that Shane Taylor will meet Gravity in the Ring of Honor World TV Title Eliminator Tournament finals on Thursday, August 10, 2023.
The winner of this match will face Samoa Joe for the championship at yet to be disclosed date.

However, the Samoa Joe news doesn't end there.
Stokely Hathaway requested sometime during the August 3 episode of Ring of Honor on HonorClub to brag about how wonderfully the ROH World TV Title Eliminator is going. He would then be interrupted by Dalton Castle and The Boys, and they would complain about how Stokely treated them during Dalton's match against Samoa Joe at Ring of Honor Death Before Dishonor.
Dalton would say that he had Samoa Joe beat. This would bring out Samoa Joe, who would say that it's disrespectful to be talking to still clean that way, and he's going to take out the disrespect when he and Stokely a team against The Boys on the August 17 episode of Ring of Honor television.
Everyone else involved in the segment, including Lexy Nair, left the situation feeling very confused.
#ROH Board of Directors member @StokelyHathaway requested some interview time...However, @theDALTONcastle has something he wants to get off his chest.
