Suge D: If Bryan Keith Wants To Be The Number One Guy In Black Wrestling, He's Missing The Hardware

Suge D wants a match with Bryan Keith.

On October 18, 2023, the 2023 BWI 500 was released. The list, which is made by Fightful's Righteous Red, was topped by Bryan Keith, who is one of the most active performers on the independent scene.

Just days before, on October 15, 2023, Suge D won the Pan-Afrikan World Diaspora Wrestling World Championship. The previous champion, Trish Adora, ranked 22 on the list.

In a new interview with Fightful Overbooked's Indied podcast, Suge D said that if Bryan Keith wants to be the number one guy in black wrestling, he needs to beat Suge D and become the Pan-Afrikan World Diaspora Wrestling World Champion.

“Who was number one on the BW500 this year? [Bryan Keith]. Thanks for introducing me as the new number one, but as far as that list goes, as of print, it was Bryan Keith. If he wants to be the number one guy for real in black wrestling, I think he’s missing the hardware. If I want to be the number one guy in black wrestling, I can’t be in a room with a guy that you say is number one and it not be that. So, his invite is always open and I’ve talked to anybody that we can to go ahead and make this thing happen. It is a priority to make that thing happen, because that’s something I wanted even before this. We’re going to make that happen.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Suge D has high praise for Leon Slater. Fans can click here to learn more.
