An upset in Atlanta.
The February 5 edition of AEW Dynamite was headlined by a heated singles clash between Swerve Strickland and Ricochet. The match had been building for over a month, with Strickland and Ricochet trading verbal and physical jabs in recent weeks.
In the end, Ricochet was able to score a big upset over Strickland. The finish of the match saw Strickland kick out of both a 450 Splash and Shooting Star Press from Ricochet. Strickland then went up for a Swerve Stomp, but Ricochet blocked the move with a low blow. Ricochet went on to score the pinfall win after clocking Strickland with a Spirit Gun.
Debo decir que aunque ese nuevo remate de Ricochet no me gustaba mucho al inicio, le queda bastante bien.
