Swerve Strickland shouts out two names signed by Ring of Honor currently in a tag team.
In the buildup to his return at AEW WrestleDream, Swerve Strickland was seen training with EJ Nduka. Recently, EJ has been on the Ring of Honor brand dealing with Lee Johnson.
During an appearance on the 'No-Contest Wrestling' Podcast with O'Shea Jackson Jr. and TJ Jefferson, Strickland praised Johnson and Nduka and said fans should keep an eye on these upcoming talents.
"Shoutout EJ Nduka. He has a lot to offer. He is hungry. He has a lot ‘I want to prove to the world.’ Not to anybody specific, just, ‘I want to prove it to the world.’ He knows how good he can be and what he can offer. I see it in him. I talk to him, have these conversations, and he’s dedicated. Week in and week out. Day in and day out, he’s on it. Whether training or in the ring, he’s training and working on it. Pay attention to him and Lee Johnson. They are doing their thing. The fanbase, if you have guys that you like and are your favorites, watch them. Don’t wait for them to get on TV to watch. Watch them where they are at now and help push them to where you want them to go. Go watch them in Ring of Honor. You can be responsible for that. [The fans] were responsible for me getting my opportunities. Watch them where they are at and help push them and catapult them. The fanbase does that."
Strickland will be facing Shelton Benjamin on October 30 during AEW Fright Night Dynamite. Learn more here.
