Bobby Lashley and Braun Strowman are teaming up again.
In the first segment of Raw, Roman Reigns was interrupted and attacked by Jinder Mahal, Sami Zayn, and Kevin Owens. Bobby Lashley and then Braun Strowman came to the ring to assist Reigns and a six-man tag team match was created between all of the wrestlers involved.
Later in the night, Reigns, Strowman, and Lashley defeated Zayn, Owens, and Mahal when Strowman pinned Owens after his powerslam. WWE would later announce the following tag team match with four of those wrestlers for WWE Backlash.
On last week's Raw, Lashley and Strowman were victorious in a tag team match against Owens and Zayn.
WWE Backlash will be the return of co-branded pay-per-views for WWE and will feature championship matches including an Intercontinental Championship match between Raw's Seth Rollins and Smackdown's The Miz.
