It's official, WrestleMania is headed to Tampa, Florida.
WWE confirmed the news this morning via a report by the Tampa Bay Times. The event will take place on April 5, 2020 at Raymond James Stadium, home of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the new XFL Tampa team. The stadium seats roughly 66,000 fans. Tampa is also set to host Super Bowl LV in 2021.
PWInsider first reported the news of WrestleMania 36 being rumored for Tampa and a report from Collin Sherwin of 813 Area on Feb. 25 confirmed the news, date, and venue. A press conference is scheduled for 11 a.m. ET today to offer more details. Fightful will stream the press conference live on the site.

WWE has held WrestleMania in Florida three times. Orlando hosted the event in 2008 and 2017 while Miami hosted the event in 2012. This marks the first time Tampa will host the event.
