Tate Mayfairs comments on his AEW debut.
On the June 8th edition of AEW Collision, Daniel Garcia faced off with the debuting Tate Mayfairs, who is the current TNT World Champion in the UK. However, Mayfairs came up short in their matchup, as Garcia walked away with the victory as he looks to build momentum to an AEW International Title matchup with champion Will Ospreay.
Mayfairs took to social media on Sunday and reacted to the loss, blaming jetlag and demanding a rematch.

In a later post, Mayfairs expanded on the jet lag he suffered and insisted that in any other case, he would have beaten down Daniel Garcia.
"I'm waking up to all these videos of last night being sent to me and it's like when you wake up with a hangover and everyone's sending you videos of what you got up to the night before. It's not fair. I've flown out here out of the kindness of my heart to give Daniel Garcia the fight of his life and then and then they take advantage by having me go out there severely jet-lagged. Yeah, any other given night, I would have beaten down Daniel Garcia, cleaning that man out of the ring. Everyone knows that. Then you've got to see you're a fraud. AEW. The people deserve to see... Tate Mayfairs at his best."
