Tay Melo is working to get back in the ring.
Tay Melo has not wrestled since March 2023. At AEW Double or Nothing 2023, she and Sammy Guevara announced that they were expecting a child together. They welcomed their baby into the world in November.
On May 20, Tay Melo took to Twitter/X to note that she was happy to be back in the ring again. Melo said that, with a lot of patience, she would be ready to be back. She noted that she had a new body after her pregnancy, but she would keep getting stronger.

Tay Melo previously said that she wanted to win a title when she returned, and she would be coming for it all.
