Taynara Conti made her NXT television debut in October 2017 when she interfered in a triple threat match between Nikki Cross, Peyton Royce and Liv Morgan.
Conti interfered on the behalf of Undisputed ERA, who simply asked her to interfere and go after Cross as part of their feud with Sanity. While it may have looked like Undisputed ERA could add a female presence with Conti, nothing ever came of it.
"That was never meant to be," Conti told Ring the Belle. "It was a surprise because I was watching them put the matches together and I had no idea back then about anything. They were like, 'Do you have your gear?' I always had my gear. 'Well, we may use you for something.' Then it was like, 'Oh no, sorry, we're not using you anymore.' Come on guys! That's pretty much how everything works. Then they used me for the Undisputed Era segment, but that was it. There was no plans or storyline. Of course, after, I tried to do something with them and was pitching ideas. 'What if we do this storyline and put a girl with Undisputed ERA.'"
Conti was defeated by Cross on the November 1, 2017 episode of NXT before disappearing from NXT television until winning a Mae Young Classic 2018 Qualifying match in August 2018.
Elsewhere during the interview, Conti discussed being released by WWE this past April. You can find her full comments by clicking here.
