Taz couldn't be prouder of Hook.
On the December 10 episode of AEW Rampage, Hook made his in-ring debut for AEW, picking up an impressive victory over Fuego Del Sol. Not only that, but after the bout, Tony Khan officially announced that Hook had signed with AEW.
Hook's father, Taz, not only got to watch his son but had the privilege of being on commentary as well. He shared on Twitter that he was so proud and even reacted to the crowd chanting "Hook's gonna kill you" during the match.
That was wild to hear…it’s been YEARS for me that I haven’t heard that. Surreal. Lol https://t.co/C03dwxeq1z

After a night filled with messages from countless members of the wrestling community praising Hook's performance, Taz hopped online and thanked everyone. Not only that, but he revealed that his former finisher, The Tazmission, which Hook used to close out his match yesterday, will now be called "Redrum."
Folks, I really need to say THANK YOU to all of you for the tons of tweets toward me about the kind words about @730hook - it’s just too many to reply to lol!! And yes, it was SO special for me to call his first worldwide TV match. •Tazmission is now - “REDRUM” https://t.co/MR58pkuXG3
