Taz rejects WWE adding a second Z to his name and also rejects the idea that WWE saved his career.
Current manager of Brian Cage in AEW, Taz, recently unloaded on a Twitter user that suggested WWE saved his career by offering him the opportunity as an announcer in the early 2000s when Taz was forced into retirement.
This Twitter user believed that the dig the former ECW world champion gave to WWE about them running a sloppy shop was uncalled-for because of all the good that they provided Taz.
Saved my career??? Lmao, NO! They gave me opportunity (which I appreciated & accepted) but you NEED to understand...that’s a 2 way street. I was supplying them with a need & providing my services. They did that to capiltize on $ invest in me & they NEEDED a new fresh voice. https://t.co/7lOgieGume
