Team AEW Wins Blood & Guts Match On 7/24 AEW Dynamite After Darby Allin Threatens To Set Jack Perry On Fire

Team AEW wins Blood & Guts.

Jack Perry started out the match for The Elite. Darby Allin arrived shortly after to start the bout for Team AEW. After some fighting in the crowd, Perry took the advantage in the ring by using a trash can to slow down Allin. Shortly after, Nick Jackson entered the match and began to help Perry beat down Allin.

Mark Briscoe eventually entered the match and evened the odds for Team AEW. Moments later, Briscoe squished Nick Jackson in the corner with a ladder. Matthew Jackson entered the match and gave the advantage back to The Elite, smashing Briscoe with a briefcase.

Briscoe was then busted open moments later after Matthew Jackson rubbed his face against the wall of the cage. The Elite continued to establish dominance after this, as Matthew launched Darby into the briefcase that was held by Jack Perry.

Eventually, Anthony Bowens made his way to the ring and evened things back up. With a ton of momentum, Bowens took out every member of The Elite by himself. Kazuchika Okada entered the match next and dropped Brisoce on a Rainmaker Drive sign with a tombstone piledriver.

Max Caster hit the ring next, but his presence didn't help too much, as Bowens took a Swanton from Nick Jackson while being sandwiched between two barbed wired boards. Caster then took a superkick from the Bucks with thumbtacks in his mouth.

'Hangman' Adam Page was set to enter the match next, but he was nowhere to be found after his music hit. Swerve Strickland came out shortly after, prompting Page to appear and attack him from behind. Page then began to beat down Strickland after handcuffing him to the cage. Page then got in the ring after Matthew Jackson threatened to fire him for not participating in the bout.

After Page got in the ring, Matthew Jackson instructed for the bell to ring despite Strickland being trapped on the outside. Moments later, Jeff Jarrett and Billy Gunn came down to help Strickland get in the cage, taking out Brandon Cutler in the process.

Strickland ferociously got in the ring and took out the entire Elite aside from Adam Page. After a brief staredown and exchange, Strickland trapped Page in the corner and nearly stapled his forehead. Instead, the rest of The Elite got their own staple guns and began to staple Strickland all over his upper body. Strickland got up and laughed off the attack before taking out The Elite once again.

On the outside of the cage, Nick Jackson set up four tables. Jackson and Bowens ascended the corner of the cage, but Bowens would end up taking the fall, crashing through the tables after Jackson smashed his head off of the cage.

Inside the ring, Allin positioned Jack Perry on a table before climbing the rungs of the cage and dropping onto him with a Coffin Drop.

The closing stretch of the match occured when Perry was tied to one wall of the cage by Team AEW. Despite kendo stick attacks and chair shots, Perry refused to quit.

Allin stepped up his game and obtained gas and a lighter from under the ring. Allin splashed gas all over Perry before walking over to Matthew Jackson, who was handcuffed to the rope. Allin told Jackson to give him a match for the TNT Championship at All In or else he'd light Perry on fire. After Jackson agreed to the match, Allin demanded that he quit the match as well, threatening to light Perry on fire again. Jackson quickly agreed and quit the match, handing Team AEW the victory.
