In the summer of 2020, WWE introduced RETRIBUTION, a group of masked vigilantes, to the WWE Universe.
While RETRIBUTION turned out to be MACE (Dio Maddin), T-BAR (Dominik Dijakovic), SLAPJACK (Shane Thorne), RETALIATION (Mercedes Martinez) and RECKONING (Mia Yim), the group was comprised of extras under masks.
Two of those extras were Terrence And Terrell Hughes, the sons of D-Von Dudley.
"There were a lot of people there. Every week it was like 50 people. They had two different things, the Raw Underground section with people around the ring and they had RETRIBUTION. Every week was something different. One week, we jumped Titus O'Neil and Humberto [Carrillo]. The next week, we jumped the ring. The next week, we just stood around in a backstage vignette for a promo. It was a bunch of random stuff because everyone is under a mask. There was really no job that we couldn't do," said T on Sunset Flip Radio.
While Terrence and Terrell had a tryout with WWE, they would find more extra work in AEW, working as a team on AEW Dark.
