Tessa Blanchard To Defend IMPACT World Title In Triple Threat Bout At IMPACT Rebellion; Updated Card

Tessa Blanchard will have not one, but two challengers for her title at IMPACT Rebellion.

Over the past few weeks, Michael Elgin and Eddie Edwards have battled in a best-of-five series to determine the next contender for the IMPACT World Title. The series was tied at two heading into Tuesday's final showdown. And nothing was resolved as the match ended with a double finish. Edwards rolled Elgin over while in the crossface, forcing the three count. But as the three-count was delivered, Edwards tapped out.

After the match, Tessa Blanchard arrived and stated she had no problem defending the IMPACT World Title against both competitors at IMPACT Rebellion. Thus, the triple threat match was made official with Blanchard defending against Eddie Edwards and Michael Elgin.

IMPACT Rebellion is scheduled for Apr. 19 in New York. Here's a look at the current card.
