Tessa Blanchard Says She's Talked To Some Companies, 'It Just Hasn't Felt Right'

Tessa Blanchard comments on her future in wrestling.

Tessa Blanchard has been active on the independent scene and in Mexico, but hasn't competed for a major promotion in the US since her time with TNA ended in 2020.

Speaking to Straight Talk Wrestling, Tessa was asked if she's been approached by any big promotions.

"I’ve talked to some other companies, and in the time, and pretty recently, it just hasn’t felt right yet to go. One thing that I promised myself is it doesn’t matter about the money, it doesn’t matter anything, if it doesn’t feel right, then I’m not going to do it because my happiness right now is very important to me," she said.

Tessa stepped away from wrestling after her time with TNA ended in 2020 before returning for a handful of matches in 2021 and 2022. She joined CMLL on a more full-time basis in October 2023.

Speaking about her return to wrestling, she commented, "I went to Mexico, joined the Grand Prix, hopeful that something comes of it still. I’ve had opportunities there come that just haven’t felt right yet. I promise, where God guides, he provides. If it makes me feel calm, if it makes me feel excited, that inner peace, then those are the things that I’m gonna chase after. If it doesn’t feel right, it doesn’t matter the money because we don’t even know me tomorrow. It doesn’t matter the money or the fame or anything. If it doesn’t feel right, it doesn’t right. So that’s kind of the way I make my decisions now. Mitigate regret, and then how it makes me feel."
