In a match full of firsts on a night full of firsts, Tetsuya Naito, Darby Allin, and Sting defeated Chris Jericho, Sammy Guevara, and Minoru Suzukiat AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2023.
For the first time ever, Sting stepped into the ring with Chris Jericho, Tetsuya Naito wrestled in AEW, and everybody was pulling out all the stops.
Darby Allin would be drilled with a mid-air Judas Effect, Sting ate a 630 Splash and was put through a table, but in the end, Naito pinned Suzuki after a double team with Sting for the victory. Chris Jericho tried to attack Naito after the match but ultimately was chased off by Sting.
