Thea Hail will get her rematch at NXT Great American Bash.
On the June 27 episode of WWE NXT, Hail challenged NXT Women's Champion Tiffany Stratton for the gold. During the match, Drew Gulak and Charlie Dempsey argued with Duke Hudson, and the distraction cost Hail the win. However, Chase U's star pupil remained focus on her quest for the gold.
Hail scored a dominant win over Elektra Lopez by making her tap out to the Kimura on the July 18 episode of WWE NXT. After the match, Hail challenged Stratton to a rematch. The champion came to the ring and accepted the challenge, though she also took the opportunity to say she was superior to Hail.
Before Stratton could leave, Hail said she wanted their bout to be a submission match. Stratton initially turned her down, but Hail attacked the champion and trapped her in a Kimura until she agreed to the stipulation.
