Thunder Rosa has provided another update on her recovery.
Rosa has been sidelined with a back injury since August when she announced she would have to step away from competition, creating an Interim AEW Women's Championship. On November 23, it was announced that the "Interim" tag would be done away with and Jamie Hayter, who defeated Toni Storm at AEW Full Gear to win the Interim AEW Women's Title, was the undisputed AEW Women's Champion.
The decision to remove the "interim" tag was done as Rosa's return date to the ring was unknown.
Speaking on her Vlog, Rosa provided an update on her recovery process.
"The recovery is going really well. I just, this week, I was just able to do squats with a two-pound dumbbell. I haven't done any lifting for the last four or five months, which is huge. Two weeks ago, I was able to do a 5K, which I walked half the way, cause I'm not allowed to run. I can jog, that's pretty much it. Those are big milestones for me. I have not been able to be in the ring yet, so we're working on that," she said.
Rosa previously noted that she was aiming to be back in January.
As of now, it is unknown when she will return to competition.
