Thunder Rosa remains on the mend.
In a new Instagram video, Thunder Rosa is in Mexico, where she's being honored on the Tijuana Walk of Fame and carrying the AEW Women's Championship. During the video, she addressed her current status.
"Shoutout to the whole AEW Women's Division, you guys are doing great. I'm getting better. Time is coming. I'm coming back soon," she said. "I know you guys are really eager to when I'm coming back, the news will come later. I'm sorry I don't have a timeline."
It is unclear if she didn't have a timeline for her return or when she can provide more news on her return, or both.
On October 21, Rosa said she wasn't given a time of when she would return, but was aiming to be back in January.
On the August 24 episode of AEW Dynamite, Rosa said she was injured and could not defend her AEW Women's Championship. She was scheduled to defend the title against Toni Storm at AEW All Out. Storm won the Interim Women's Championship in a four-way bout that also featured Britt Baker, Jamie Hayter, and Hikaru Shida.
Storm will defend the Interim AEW Women's Title at AEW Full Gear against Hayter.
