Tiffany Stratton On Facing Becky Lynch: I'm Very Confident, She Should Be Shaking In Her Boots

NXT Women's Champion Tiffany Stratton shares her thoughts ahead of her match against Becky Lynch.

As announced on the September 5 episode of WWE NXT, Stratton will defend the title against Lynch on September 12. The two stars have been feuding in recent weeks, and Lynch will return to the NXT ring for the first time since 2019 to challenge for the gold.

Speaking on WWE's The Bump, Stratton was asked to describe how confident she feels ahead of the match.

“I’m very confident, but I also know that Becky is one of the best of all time. She’s one of the best wrestlers in the female division. I have to say that this is definitely one of the biggest matches of my career. But also, my career began two years ago, and Becky’s coming after me. So I have to say that I’m very confident going into this," Stratton said.

Later in the interview, Stratton was asked to explain why she thinks Lynch should be concerned about her. Stratton stated that she is the fastest-rising star in WWE, and she has what it takes to be a top women's wrestler in the company. She also noted that what she does in the ring speaks for itself, and she claimed that Lynch should be shaking in her boots.

“I’m the fastest-rising star within WWE right now. I think I have a lot of the different components that it takes to be a top women’s wrestler in WWE. I think Becky should be scared about that. I think I bring a lot to the table. I think the stuff that I do in the ring speaks for itself. She should be shaking in her boots right now," she said.
