NJPW has announced several matches, some of which are title bouts, to both nights of next month's Wrestle Kingdom 15 card.
The promotion revealed that IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Taiji Ishimori will defend his title on night two, taking place on January 5. His challenger will be determined the night before when Best Of The Super Jr. winner Hiromu Takahashi takes on Super J-Cup winner El Phantasmo.
In addition, IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Champions Zack Sabre Jr. & Taichi will defend their titles on January 4 against Tama Tonga & Tanga Loa, who won the World Tag League earlier this month. The other match announced for night one on January 4 is Hiroshi Tanahashi taking on the Great-O-Khan.
As for the rest of the matches announced for night two, current NEVER Openweight Champion Shingo Takagi will defend his title against Jeff Cobb while former stablemates EVIL and SANADA will face off against each other. Both matches are rematches from this year's G-1 Climax where Cobb and SANADA emerged victorious in their respective bouts.
