Aleister Black is no longer NXT Champion.
On NXT this week, Aleister Black unsuccessfully defended his NXT Championship against Tommaso Ciampa. During the match, Ciampa used an eye rack to dispose of Black and then aimed to hit him with the title. Ciampa's most heated rival Johnny Gargano then got involved. Gargano attempted to keep Ciampa from further cheating but incidentally hit Black with the title.
The following is an excerpt from the play-by-play provided by Fightful Wrestling's Ryan Cook.
Ciampa tries to DDT Black onto the floor before Ciampa sends the referee to the outside and onto the concrete. Black hits the Black Mass, but the referee is incapacitated before Ciampa rakes his eyes and grabs the title belt.
Johnny Gargano comes in and superkicks Ciampa before Ciampa sends him into Black and tosses him out of the ring. Ciampa then hits Black with the angels wings for the pin and the win.
Winner: Tommaso Ciampa defeats Aleister Black to become the new NXT champion when he defeats Aleister Black via pinfall with the angels wings.
