Aleister Black Calls Velveteen Dream A Prodigy

Aleister Black says Velveteen Dream is "money."

Last year Aleister Black and Velveteen Dream earned the NXT award for rivalry of the year. They had an intense feud which culminated in a singles match at NXT Takeover: War Games. On E & C's Pod of Awesomeness, Black spoke about Velveteen Dream in a very positive way and explained why he thinks their match went so well.

"The reason me and Velveteen Dream work so well because it's such a polar opposite. Its almost like we are the same wavelength but we're just completely opposites," said Black.

The 22 year old Velveteen Dream has been in NXT for a few years but only found a prominent role on the shows in early 2017. Black said Velveteen Dream has a good career in front of him.

"He's ridiculous. That dude is a prodigy. That dude looks at something, picks it up, and does it. There's so much confidence in him and he's only 22-23 years old," said Black. "He's going to make himself and the WWE a lot of money. I have no doubt. That guy there is money," he continued.

At NXT Takeover: New Orleans, Black became NXT Champion and Velveteen Dream competed in a ladder match for the inaugural NXT North American Championship.
