Tommy Dreamer Says IMPACT Pitched The Beautiful People Returning To Face Fire N Flava

Fire N Flava (Kiera Hogan & Tasha Steelz) are the only two-time IMPACT Knockouts Tag Team Champions and they only faced one of the most popular acts in IMPACT history.

The Beautiful People (Angelina Love & Velvet Sky) haven't teamed in IMPACT since 2015, but there was a pitch for them to return to face Fire N Flava according to Tommy Dreamer.

"With you and Kiera, I'll tell you this, there was a pitch to bring back The Beautiful People to go against you guys. It didn't work out. There was contract stuff involved and a lot of other stuff, but it was being discussed. If people only knew half the stuff being discussed right now about what talent to bring in, what talent you shouldn't bring in. The behind the scenes of pro wrestling is amazing. Anyway, that was probably one of the biggest acts that IMPACT has ever had from TNA to IMPACT and one of the highest rated segments of all time. Those two women always brought it. That would have been an interesting feud in the 'what if?' category," Dreamer said on his House of Hardcore podcast.

Steelz sounded disappointed in learning about the pitch. Dreamer said he didn't want to get into details on the podcast.

Velvet Sky hasn't wrestled since 2016. She currently provides commentary for NWA. Angelina Love remains active in ROH.

Despite not getting to wrestle The Beautiful People, Steelz was proud of what she and Hogan accomplished with the IMPACT Knockouts Championships.

Speaking about their time as IMPACT Knockouts Champions, Steelz said, "I feel like Fire N Flava made the Knockouts Tag Titles relevant again for more tag teams to come in and chase for it because we brought a lot more to the tag titles. No disrespect to the previous owners, but I feel like we were the most entertaining because of the passion and fight we had to want to bring the tag titles back and want to keep them. I feel like we made it much more relevant and to give these girls the opportunity to fight for what we had."

Fire N Flava split up on the August 5 episode of IMPACT Wrestling with Savannah Evans aligning with Steelz due to Hogan leaving the company.
