The second annual Mae Young Classic winner has been crowned.
At Sunday's WWE Evolution event, Toni Storm overcame tournament favorite Io Shirai to win the 2018 Mae Young Classic. The match was a back-and-forth affair with Storm surviving everything Shirai threw at her before picking up the victory with Storm Zero.
Storm defeated Jinny, Hiroyo Matsumoto, Mia Yim, and Meiko Satomura on her way to the Finals against Shirai. Following the victory, Storm and Shirai embraced before both ladies were congratulated in the ring by Stephanie McMahon, Triple H, and Sara Amato. Storm was presented with the Mae Young Classic trophy by Triple H.
