Toni Storm and WWE have parted ways.
Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp reports that Toni Storm is gone from WWE. According to those Sapp spoke to within WWE it is believed Toni Storm asked for her release from the company. The memo that went out did not list budget cuts as the reason, as has been tradition of late.
Storm joined WWE in 2017 to take part in the Mae Young Classic. She would go on to win the 2018 Mae Young Classic before joining NXT UK. Storm would go on to win the NXT UK Women's Championship.
She would later join NXT and was then moved to WWE SmackDown in July. She made her SmackDown debut on the July 23 episode of WWE SmackDown, defeating Zelina Vega.
Storm recently challenge Charlotte Flair for the SmackDown Women's Championship on the Christmas Eve episode of SmackDown, but was unsuccessful in her attempt to win gold. She has been competing on the WWE live event, most recently wrestling on the December 28 live event in Washington, DC.
I've confirmed this news with the company.

Those that I spoke to within WWE believe Toni Storm asked for her release from the company, though I'm also making an effort to reach out to those close to her. The memo that went out did not list budget cuts as the reason, as has been tradition of late.
