- Adam Copeland, formerly known as Edge in WWE, kicked off the show by getting reacquainted with Renee Paquette and Chris Jericho and meeting Kenny Omega for the first time.

- Speaking of best friends, Adam Cole made a house call for Roderick Strong and while Roddy gifted him a new scooter, he also asked Adam Cole to redecorate his furniture.

- Samoa Joe appeared in a vignette on October 4, enjoying a cigar and some liquor. He agreed that he does respect Maxwell Jacob Friedman after their championship match at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam, but also promised to find his hunger again and become champion.

- Speaking of Don Callis' family, Sammy Guevara was not medically cleared to compete on October 4. As a result, Kyle Fletcher tagged with Konosuke Takeshita, eating the pinfall loss in a tag team match against Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho.
- Jay White and MJF will clash for the AEW World Title at AEW Full Gear 2023
- Max Caster wants to be there for MJF because he knows that Max can't do it alone. Not like that, though.
