Toni Storm: We Want To Push Our Division Above And Beyond; To Do That We Need Everyone’s Support

Toni Storm wants to keep pushing the AEW women's division to greater heights.

Fans around the world of wrestling have been pushing for nearly every company to incorporate more women into their weekly programming ever since the WWE Women's Revolution began to take shape back in 2014. This had to led to plenty of achievements for women in wrestling, as they have got to chance to main event many pay-per-views and weekly television shows in recent years.

Since the company's inception in 2019, some fans have had criticism about the women's division in AEW, noting that they don't get as much attention and/or time as women in other companies do. In a new interview with The Ringer, Toni Storm called for more fan support as the division tries to continue to grow bigger and bigger.

"We want this to be bigger. We want more time. We want to push our division above and beyond. And for that we need everyone’s support. We need everyone to support us and tune into Dynamite and Rampage each week."

Storm is set to defend her interim title against Jamie Hayter at Saturday's Full Gear pay-per-view. To see the full lineup for that show, which currently features three women's matches, click here.
