Tony Khan: AEW/NJPW Forbidden Door Show Sold Over 11,000 Tickets During Presale

AEW is well on their way to selling out the United Center again, this time with the help of New Japan Pro Wrestling.

The presale for AEW/NJPW Forbidden Door started today. A vast majority of tickets were made available for purchase today, but some were held back for tomorrow's general on-sale date.

AEW President Tony Khan has now taken to Twitter to celebrate the massive success of today's presale, noting that over 11,000 tickets were sold today. Khan also noted that a small allotment is being held back for tomorrow's sale.

With the success of the pre-sale, it is expected that the event will quickly sell out tomorrow when the general sale begins. This will mark the second time that AEW has sold out the United Center, with the first time being back in August 2021 when they sold out the venue for CM Punk's return show.

Fightful will update fans if Forbidden Door completely sells out during tomorrow's general on-sale.
