Tony Khan comments on WWE business practices.
Over the weekend, AEW Collision fast nationals were posted by certain people who claimed that the show did just over 100,000 viewers. The numbers turned out to be false with the reason being the numbers were from the midnight on TNT timeslot, where AEW Collision would have aired due to the NBA Playoffs, and not from the 8 p.m. timeslot, where AEW Collision did air due to there being no NBA Playoff game.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer claimed the fast national numbers were supplied by WWE.
AEW President Tony Khan commented, saying WWE has been using the same "business practices that Jim Crockett Promotions + many former wrestling territories faced in the 1980s."
These are the same predatory business practices that Jim Crockett Promotions + many former wrestling territories faced in the 1980s.
