Darby Allin gets attacked on the final AEW Rampage.

The closing segment of the December 27, 2024 episode of AEW Rampage began with The Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta, PAC, Marina Shafir, and Claudio Castagnoli) commandeering a camera to show themselves assaulting Darby Allin backstage in a stairwell in the Manhattan Center.

MOX would stomp a chair that was wrapped around the neck of Darby before kicking him down a flight of steps.

This chaos bled over into the arena, and the show went off the air with a majority of the roster was fighting with each other and MOX's motley crew.

Moxley officially pulled the plug on Rampage to end the weekly series.

Tony Khan had previously noted that this would be the final episode of the weekly TV series for the foreseeable future. Read his comments here about why this will be a positive move forward for the promotion.
