AEW President Tony Khan has laid out the schedule for Dynamite for the next few weeks.
Responding to someone on Twitter asking whether or not the September 16 and September 17 broadcasts of Dynamite will be separate shows, Khan confirmed that is the case. The show is undergoing some schedule changes due to NBA coverage on TNT in the next month.
It had been known for a while that there were going to be Dynamite broadcasts on those two September dates, but Khan gave specific details on the shows. The September 16 episode of Dynamite will be a one-hour broadcast airing after NBA coverage while the September 17 episode will be a new two-hour broadcast.
Below is the updated Dynamite schedule:
- Saturday, August 22
- Thursday, August 27
- Wednesday, September 2
- Wednesday, September 9
- Wednesday, September 16 (one-hour broadcast after NBA on TNT)
- Thursday, September 17
- Wednesday, September 23
Yes. We’ll have a new 1 hour episode late Wednesday after NBA on September 16 + then we’ll have another new full 2 hour show on Thursday September 17.

The August 22 show will actually end up going head with NXT Takeover XXX for about an hour.
