Tony Khan gives an update on Kenny Omega.
On December 15, 2023, Kenny Omega informed fans that he would be out indefinitely after going to the hospital and being diagnosed with diverticulitis.
Kenny Omega is featured on the advertising for show in Canada, which begin on March 16.
Despite Omega being on the advertising, Tony Khan doesn't want to create an expectation that he'll be cleared.
"I don't think it would be fair to create the expectation that Kenny Omega would be cleared by then. I'm very optimistic Kenny will be coming back, but I don't know the exact date. I think that's an aggressive timetable. Kenny is one of AEW's great stars and we can't wait to have him back as soon as possible. I don't think it would be fair to create the expectation he would be cleared by then though," Khan said at the AEW Revolution media scrum when asked about Omega by Charli from WrestlePurists.
It is unknown when Kenny will return to the ring. He was scheduled to wrestle at AEW Worlds End before entering the hospital and being diagnosed.
