Tony Khan: I Didn’t Step Into The Ring Voluntarily, I Would Hope To Avoid Such Altercations In The Future

Tony Khan is not looking to get back in the ring any time soon.

On the April 24th edition of AEW Dynamite earlier this year, Jack Perry, along with the rest of The Elite would attack AEW president Tony Khan, first with a microphone before The Young Bucks would hit the Meltzer Driver on Khan. This would result in Khan sporting a neck brace which he would wear during the NFL Draft to big reactions on social media.

While speaking to AMNY in a recent interview, Khan was asked about possibly getting in the ring for a match with Tony noting that he hopes to avoid physical altercations in the future when he is in a wrestling ring.

“I didn’t step into the ring voluntarily. I would hope to avoid such physical altercations in the future."

The Elite continue to run riot in AEW, with the members all holding gold in the promotion at this time, with The Young Bucks defending their AEW Tag Titles against Will Ospreay and Kyle Fletcher at the upcoming AEW Grand Slam event.

Tony recently commented on the possibility of a WWE/AEW crossover show. You can read more about that here.
